Educatout inc. (called “educatout” hereinafter) manages all edutainment activities including: La boutique educatout-educatall online store, Le club educatout, The educatall club, the Guide des Ressources de la famille et de la petite enfance, as well as the educatout.com, educatall.com, poni.ca, and zoneparents.com websites (called “Web portal” hereinafter). The use of the Web portal is subject to the terms and conditions applicable to online store purchases listed below and constitutes a contract between you and educatout. These terms and conditions may be modified at any time by educatout. Educatout carries out its business and Web portal in the province of Quebec, Canada.

Your personal information such as name, address, telephone number and email address is strictly reserved for use by educatout. It will not be disclosed to a third party nor will it be sold to other companies or promotional groups. The Web portal meets SSL standards for secured transmissions (Digital security by EN TRUST). This guarantees the exchange of personal information and passwords is always done securely.

All prices are in Canadian Dollars.

Credit card
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and En Route for all transactions done via our Web portal. Payments go through Desjardins Card Services. Your personal information and credit card information are forwarded via electronic messages which cannot be intercepted, altered, or decoded by a third party since they have gone through an encoding process which guarantees the confidentiality of the information.

Desjardin Card Services meets SSL standards for secured transmissions which guarantees your transaction will be forwarded securely. Furthermore, your payment is processed directly through Desjardins. Desjardins Card Services do not keep any data or credit information pertaining to transactions. This explains why you must enter your credit information for each new transaction.

Paypal
PayPal meets SSL standards for secured transmissions which guarantees your transaction will be forwarded securely. Your personal information and credit card information are forwarded via electronic messages which cannot be intercepted, altered, or decoded by a third party since they have gone through an encoding process which guarantees the confidentiality of the information.

Checks and money orders
Checks and money orders from Canada are also accepted. They must be made out to Educatall and mailed to the following address:

A $15.00 fee will apply for all checks with insufficient funds. Payment will have to be made by money order, bank transfer, or certified check.

Please note that all orders paid by check or money order will not be shipped until payment is received. Post dated checks are accepted for a maximum of 20 days after the order date.

All products are taxable.

Quebec : GST: 5% and PST: 9.975% (Only GST for the purchase of books)
Ontario, New-Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador : TVH 13%
Nova–Scotia : TVH 15%
British–Colombia : TVH 12%

Other Canadian provinces: GST: 5%
Outside of Canada: No applicable taxes

Specificity for orders originating from outside of Canada
Only credit card and PayPal payments are accepted for orders shipped outside of Canada. There are no taxes added to the order. Prices are in Canadian dollars. The exchange rate will automatically be calculated by the bank which issued your credit card and reflected on your credit card statement. N.B :We don't accept echeck PayPal

Shipping in Canada
Orders paid by credit card and PayPal will be shipped the day after the order is received. Orders paid by check will ship as soon as the check is received. Delivery is made by Canada Post within five (5) to seven (7) business days following payment of your order. Your package will be delivered directly to your mailbox. If you are absent or if your mailbox is too small, a pickup notice will indicate the address of the nearest Canada Post counter. We don't accept echeck PayPal.

Handling charges in Canada
Handling charges are not included in the prices of our products. They are calculated automatically when you order and vary with the total value of your order:

$1 to $9.99=$5.25
$10 to $24.99=$6.00
$$25 to $88.99=$6.75
$89 or more = No shipping charges

Note: There are no handling charges for educatall club packages, magazine subscriptions, MP3 downloads, and gift certificates if they are ordered separately.

Shipping outside of Canada
Shipping charges depend on the weight of the package and the delivery point. They are calculated and indicated before you complete your transaction. Allow 4 to 6 business weeks for delivery of orders shipped to the United States. Expect 6 to 8 business weeks for other countries. You may have to pay fees related to customs clearance. For more information, contact customs services in your country.

Please note that no material is delivered for the educatall club. If you pay by credit card and PayPal, you will be able to access the club as soon as your payment has been confirmed. If you pay by check, you will be authorized to access the club as soon as we have received your payment.

Burning and duplication of downloaded files is strictly limited to personal and private use. Credit card is the only payment method accepted for this type of format. You may listen to the songs on your computer, burn a CD, or transfer the songs to your MP3 player or to a personal digital assistant. Songs can be downloaded only once from your account.

Exchange and reimbursement
All our products, except the educatall club, CD-Roms, DVD’s, software, distance learning, printable material, MP3 downloads, and books, may be exchanged unless they are damaged. They must be returned in their original packaging at your cost.

Damaged items
If you receive a damaged item, it may be exchanged. Call 1-888-986-7126 to obtain return authorization for the damaged item prior to sending it back to us. We will replace the item with the same product or an equivalent product as quickly as possible free of charge. Return the item clearly marked as “damaged” to:

Limited Warranty
If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with the products you ordered except the educatall club, CD-Roms, DVD’s, software, distance learning, printable material, MP3 downloads, and books, contact us within 7 days after receiving your order at 1-888-986-7126. We will accept that you return the products to us and reimburse you (with certain restrictions) or issue a credit note depending on the situation.

Collect 2% on all your purchases before taxes and shipping charges are added. Spend them to save on your future purchases!Use them to pay for your order or collect them for future use.

If you have educatall dollars in your account, the system will indicate the amount when you purchase items.

You may choose to use part of the amount, the total amount, or not use it at all if you wish to collect dollars for future use. The educatall dollars amount cannot exceed the total amount of the merchandise before taxes and handling charges.

Note that if you pay by check we must receive it within 30 days. Failure to receive it within 30 days will result in the cancellation of your order as well as the educatall dollars related to it.

Educatall reserves the right to withhold payment of educatall dollars on certain products. Educatall may also, at any time, cancel the educatall dollars policy. If this should happen, all educatall dollars would be honoured as per established policies.

Restrictions pertaining to the use of the Web portal
No element of the Web portal can be copied, published, or translated in any way without first obtaining written permission from educatout.

Trademarks
The trademarks and logos used or displayed on the Web portal are trademarks registered by educatout or third parties. You may not use the trademarks without first obtaining written authorization from their owner.

Copyrights
When you use the Web portal, you must be sure to respect the Copyright Act. The Web portal, its content, and its design were developed by educatout and are protected by the Copyright Act.

Limitation of liability
Educatout is dedicated to ensuring that the Web portal is free of errors. Educatout declines all responsibility relative to errors the Web portal may contain. The information displayed on the Web portal corresponds to the most accurate information we could collect in reference to the subjects. We invite users to signal any errors which may have occurred in the conception of the Web portal. Affiliated companies, directors, employees, and representatives or agents of educatout cannot, under any circumstance, be held responsible of any damage related directly or indirectly to the use of the Web portal. There is no guarantee, implicit or explicit, pertaining to the Web portal and the information it contains. Certain products may be slightly different than the illustration appearing in the online store section.

If a Web portal user claims educatout is responsible, this responsibility will be limited to the amount paid to educatout for the purchase of products via the Web portal.

All disputes related to sales or breach of sales conditions applicable to the purchase of products via the educatout Web portal are under the jurisdiction of Quebec laws.
